What this part is
The loudspeaker at the bottom of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro plays ringtones, alarms, media and speakerphone calls. Water, dust and high volume can damage it, so sound becomes quiet, distorted or stops.
This part replaces the bottom loudspeaker. It restores clear sound when the speaker has failed. The earpiece at the top of the phone is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mate 20 Pro, not a Pro, Lite or other version. The model code (LYA-L09 or LYA-L29) is shown under Settings › About phone › Model.
The Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39-inch curved screen with a wide notch and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The standard Mate 20 has a flat screen and a rear fingerprint sensor.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the glass back, open it and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the screws and lift out the old loudspeaker.
- Fit the new loudspeaker, making sure its contacts touch the board.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, media and speakerphone.
- Reassemble, reseal the back with new adhesive and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Mate 20 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mate 20 Pro. It is made for models LYA-L09 and LYA-L29. It does not fit the Mate 20, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 Lite.

No. The Mate 20 uses a different speaker. This part is for the Mate 20 Pro only.
Will it fix a quiet earpiece during calls?
No. This is the bottom loudspeaker. The earpiece at the top of the phone is a separate part.
