What this part is
The Huawei Mate 40 charges and connects to computers through a USB-C port at the bottom of the phone. Lint, moisture and daily use wear the port, so the cable feels loose or charging stops.
This part replaces the charging port flex cable for the standard Mate 40. It restores charging and data when the port is worn or damaged. The Mate 40 Pro and other Mate 40 versions use different parts, so check your model first.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mate 40, not a Pro, Lite or other version. The model code is shown under Settings › About phone › Model; compare it with the photos and title before ordering.
The Mate 40 has a 6.5-inch screen and a round camera ring on the back. The Mate 40 Pro has a curved screen and is a different model.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the glass back, open it and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the lower cover and the parts over the charging flex.
- Disconnect and remove the old flex, then fit the new one.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and a computer connection.
- Reassemble, reseal the back with new adhesive and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Mate 40?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mate 40. It does not fit the Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, Mate 40E, Mate 30. If you are unsure, check the model under Settings › About phone before ordering.
Does it fit the Mate 40 Pro?
No. The Mate 40 Pro has a different charging port part. This flex is for the standard Mate 40 only.
How do I know it is the port and not the charger?
Try a different cable and plug first. If the phone still charges only at an angle or not at all, and the port looks worn or dirty, the port is the likely cause.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port flex cable made to fit the Huawei Mate 40, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Mate 40 has a glued glass back, so it needs heat, the right tools and new adhesive.
