What this part is
The Huawei MatePad Air 12 charges through a USB-C port at the bottom of the tablet. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port, and the charger may only work at an angle or stop working altogether.
This part is the charging port on its flex cable. If the tablet still does not charge with a new part and a known good cable, the battery, charger or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About tablet. The device name should read MatePad Air 12. The model number should be BKY-W20.
The MatePad Air 12 has a 12-inch screen. Check the model number, as MatePad models with similar names use different parts.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Huawei MatePad Air 12 off and remove the SIM or card tray.
- Warm the screen edges and lift the display carefully with a thin opening tool and suction cup.
- Remove any screws and covers over the battery connector, then disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex cable and remove the old charging port part.
- Fit the new part, reconnect the flex cable firmly and refit the screws and covers.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging with a known good cable, then reseal with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The MatePad Air 11.5 is a smaller tablet with a different charging part. This flex is for the MatePad Air 12 (BKY-W20) only.
Will it fix a tablet that shows charging but the percentage does not rise?
It can, if the port is worn and the connection is poor. If the percentage still does not rise with a new port, the battery or charger is the more likely cause.
