The SIM tray holds your cards in the side of the Huawei P Smart 2019. If it is lost, bent or cracked, the cards cannot sit flat against the contacts, and the phone may show no SIM or drop signal.
This SIM and micro SD card tray is made to fit the Huawei P Smart 2019. It holds a SIM card plus a second SIM or a micro SD card, as shown in the photos. It slides into the slot and needs no tools apart from a SIM eject pin. Pick the colour that matches your phone.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read P Smart 2019. The model number should be POT-LX1.
The P Smart 2019 and P Smart 2020 look very alike. Check the model number: the 2019 version is POT-LX1, the 2020 version is POT-LX1A.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray to release any old tray.
- Place your cards in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in the same way round until it sits flush, then power on and check signal.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
