What this part is
On the Huawei P Smart Z the charging port is mounted on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint, moisture and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board with the port already fitted, so no soldering is needed. If the phone still does not charge with a new part and a known good cable and charger, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P smart Z and the model number should start STK-.
The P Smart Z has a pop-up selfie camera, so there is no notch or hole in the screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges and lift it off carefully with a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the screws holding the inner covers, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bottom cover, unplug the connectors and unscrew the old charging port board.
- Fit the new part, reconnect its connectors and secure the screws.
- Refit the covers and screws, apply new adhesive and close the phone, pressing evenly.
- Reconnect the battery if needed, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Huawei P Smart 2019?
No. The P Smart 2019 has a notch screen and a different internal layout. This part is for the P Smart Z only.

No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with plug-in connectors and screws.

Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Huawei P Smart Z has to be opened carefully with heat and plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
