Inside the Huawei P20 Pro, a thin coaxial signal cable carries the antenna signal between parts of the phone. It can be damaged by a drop, by liquid, or during an earlier repair, when it is easy to pinch or tear.
This is the 118mm antenna signal flex cable. Compare its length and ends with your old cable before fitting. If signal is still poor after it is replaced, the antenna itself or the main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P20 Pro and the model number should be CLT-L09 or CLT-L29.
The P20 Pro has three rear cameras in a vertical strip plus a separate flash; the standard P20 has two.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the SIM tray and warm the back glass evenly to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass with a thin pick, then remove the screws and cover plates over the part.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unclip both ends of the old signal cable and lift it out of its routing channel.
- Route the new 118mm cable the same way and press both ends onto their sockets until they click.
- Refit the covers and screws, reconnect the battery, then close with new adhesive.
- Power on and test signal, calls and mobile data.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
