What this part is
The power and volume keys on the Huawei P20 are small button caps that sit in the side of the frame and press on a switch inside. After a drop they can crack, come loose, stick or fall out.
This part is the set of outer button caps, available in several colours. If the keys are in place but pressing them does nothing, the fault is more likely the internal button flex cable, which is a different part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P20 and the model number should start EML-.
The P20 has a 5.8-inch screen and two rear cameras. The P20 Pro has three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back glass edges and lift it off carefully with a thin plastic tool.
- Remove the screws holding the inner covers, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts covering the inside of the button openings in the frame.
- Take out the old key caps and seat the new keys in the frame from the inside.
- Refit the internal parts and check each key clicks freely.
- Refit the covers and screws, apply new adhesive and close the phone, pressing evenly.
- Reconnect the battery if needed, power on and test power, volume up and volume down.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Huawei P20?
Yes, if your model number is EML-L09 or EML-L29. Check it in Settings › About phone.
Does it fit the Huawei P20 Pro?
No. The P20 Pro (CLT-) is larger and has a different body and layout. This part is for the P20 (EML-) only.
Is this the button flex cable?
No. This is the set of outer key caps. If your keys are present but do not respond, you may need the internal button flex cable instead.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality side buttons made to fit the Huawei P20, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Huawei P20 has to be opened carefully with heat and plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
