What this part is
The front camera on the Huawei P30 Pro sits at the top of the screen and plugs into the main board with a small connector. A drop, liquid damage or a failed screen repair can leave it blurred, black or showing an error when you switch to selfie mode.
This is the complete front camera module. It also handles video calls and face unlock through the camera. If a new module shows the same fault, the connector or main board may be damaged.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P30 Pro and the model number should be VOG-L09 or VOG-L29 or VOG-L04.
The P30 Pro model number starts VOG-. The P30 starts ELE- and the P30 Lite starts MAR-.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the SIM tray and warm the back glass evenly to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass with a thin pick, then remove the screws and cover plates over the part.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the front camera and lift it out of its holder at the top of the phone.
- Fit the new camera, line up the lens with the screen opening and press the connector home.
- Refit the covers and screws, reconnect the battery and test the front camera before closing with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Huawei P30 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P30 Pro with model number VOG-L09, VOG-L29 and VOG-L04. It does not fit the P30.
Does it fit the Huawei P30?
No. The P30 has a flat screen and a smaller body. The P30 Pro has curved screen edges. Order the part listed for your exact model.
Is it the same camera as the P30 Pro?
The supplier lists this module for both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. Compare it with your old camera and the photos before fitting.
