What this part is
The USB-C charging port on the Huawei P40 sits at the bottom of the phone and connects to the main board through a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, so the phone charges slowly, only at an angle, or not at all.
This is the charging port flex cable, so no soldering is needed. If the phone still does not charge with a new flex and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P40 and the model number should be ANA-NX9 or ANA-LX4.
The P40 model number starts ANA-. The P40 Pro starts ELS- and the P40 Lite starts JNY-.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, remove the SIM tray and warm the back glass evenly to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass with a thin pick, then remove the screws and cover plates over the part.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Remove the loudspeaker and bottom covers, then unplug and lift out the old charging port flex.
- Fit the new flex, press its connectors home and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging with a known good cable, then close with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Huawei P40?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P40 with model number ANA-NX9 and ANA-LX4. It does not fit the P40 Pro.
Does it fit the Huawei P40 Pro?
No. The P40 Pro is larger, has a curved screen and a bigger camera block. Order the part listed for your exact model.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. The port is already fitted to the flex cable. It connects with press-fit connectors and screws.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port flex cable made to fit the Huawei P40, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Huawei P40 has a glued glass back that needs heat and care to open, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
