What this part is
The charging port on the Huawei P40 Pro wears with daily plugging in, and lint, moisture or a dropped cable can damage the pins. When the port fails, the phone may charge slowly, stop and start, or not charge at all.
This part is the complete charging port flex cable, with the USB-C socket already fitted. Replacing the whole flex cable is more reliable than repairing a single socket. Before you buy, try a different cable and charger and gently clean the port, as a dirty port can cause the same faults.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read P40 Pro and the model number ELS-NX9, not P40 Pro+.
The P40 Pro has curved screen edges and a pill-shaped double punch-hole camera. The P40 Pro+ looks similar but has a ceramic back and a different camera layout.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the P40 Pro off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the phone using the correct method for this model, warming any glued panel to soften the adhesive.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unscrew and lift out the old charging port flex cable, noting the routing of any cables.
- Fit the new flex cable, reconnect everything and test charging and USB data before closing.
- Close the phone, sealing any glued panel with new adhesive, and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my P40 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P40 Pro (model ELS-NX9). It does not fit the P40 Pro+.
Does it fit the P40 Pro+?
No. The P40 Pro+ is a different phone with different internal parts. Check Settings › About phone before ordering.
Which connector does it have?
It has a USB-C socket, the same type the Huawei P40 Pro uses. It comes as a complete flex cable, so no soldering is needed.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality part made to fit the Huawei P40 Pro, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
