How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read P40 Pro and the model number ELS-NX9, not P40 Pro+.
The P40 Pro has curved screen edges and a pill-shaped double punch-hole camera. The P40 Pro+ looks similar but has a ceramic back and a different camera layout.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the P40 Pro off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray to release it.
- Remove the old tray and take out your SIM and memory cards.
- Place the cards in the new tray, gold contacts facing down, in the marked positions.
- Slide the tray back in the correct way round until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM and any memory card.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my P40 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P40 Pro (model ELS-NX9). It does not fit the P40 Pro+.
Does it fit the P40 Pro+?
No. The P40 Pro+ is a different phone with different internal parts. Check Settings › About phone before ordering.
Does it take a memory card?
Yes. The Huawei P40 Pro uses Huawei's own Nano Memory (NM) card, not micro SD. This set includes the SIM card tray and the NM card tray.
Is it made by Huawei?
