What this part is
The Huawei P9 power and volume buttons press on small switches mounted on a thin flex cable inside the phone. Drops, moisture and wear can crack the flex or wear out a switch, and the buttons then stop working or act on their own.
This flex cable carries the power and volume switches together, so one part restores all the side buttons. It fixes switch and flex faults, not a bent or missing outer button cap.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read P9 and the model number EVA-L09 or EVA-L19, not P9 Lite.
The P9 has a 5.2-inch screen and two rear cameras with Leica branding. The P9 Lite has a single rear camera and the P9 Plus has a larger 5.5-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the P9 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the phone using the correct method for this model, warming any glued panel first.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the old flex cable from the frame and its connector.
- Fit the new flex, lining the switches up with the button caps, and test every button before closing.
- Close the phone and run a final check of power, volume and screenshots.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my P9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P9 (model EVA-L09 or EVA-L19). It does not fit the P9 Lite.
Does it fit the P9 Lite?
No. The P9 Lite is a different phone with different internal parts. Check Settings › About phone before ordering.
Does it include the volume buttons?
Yes. The switches for the power button and both volume buttons are on this one flex cable. The outer button caps on the P9 frame are not included.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality part made to fit the Huawei P9, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The P9 has to be opened and the battery disconnected safely, and the flex is thin and easy to tear.
