The Huawei Y6 2018 power and volume buttons press on small switches mounted on a thin flex cable inside the phone. Drops, moisture and wear can crack the flex or wear out a switch, and the buttons then stop working or act on their own.
This flex cable carries the power and volume switches together, so one part restores all the side buttons. It fixes switch and flex faults, not a bent or missing outer button cap.

Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Y6 2018, not Y6 2019.
The Y6 2018 has a 5.7-inch screen with no notch. The Y6 2019 has a teardrop notch.

- Open the phone using the correct method for this model, warming any glued panel first.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the old flex cable from the frame and its connector.

- Close the phone and run a final check of power, volume and screenshots.
