What this part is
On the Huawei Y9 2019 the charging port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so the whole board is swapped as one part and the port itself does not need soldering. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Huawei Y9 2019 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the screws holding the lower cover and disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the main flex cable from the old charging port board and lift the board out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable and refit the lower cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, refit the back cover, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019?
No. The Y9 Prime 2019 (STK models) is a different phone with a different charging board.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with a flex cable and screws.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality part made to fit the Huawei Y9 2019, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Huawei Y9 2019 back cover is glued, and the battery must be disconnected before the new board is connected.
