What this part is
On the Huawei Y9a the charging port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so the whole board is swapped as one part and the port itself does not need soldering. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read FRL-L22 or FRL-L23.
The Y9a has a pop-up selfie camera and a USB-C port. The Y9s and Y9 2019 are different phones.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Huawei Y9a off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the screws holding the lower cover and disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the flex cables from the old charging port board and lift it out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cables and refit the lower cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, refit the back cover, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Yes, if Settings › About phone shows model FRL-L22 or FRL-L23.
Does it fit the Huawei Y9s?
No. The Y9s is a different phone with a different charging board. This part is for the Y9a only.

USB-C, the same as the Y9a. The port comes already fitted to the board, so no soldering is needed.

Should I fit it myself?
