What this part is
The iPad Air 3 has a bonded screen: the glass, touch layer and LCD are joined together. Whether the glass is cracked, touch has failed or the picture is black or lined, the whole assembly is replaced.
This part comes as one bonded unit, so there is no need to separate glass from LCD. The home button is not part of the screen assembly unless shown in the photos. Touch ID is paired to your iPad's own button, so move that button across to keep it working.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and tap Model Number until it shows an A-number. It should be A2152, A2123, A2153 or A2154.
The iPad Air 3 has a 10.5-inch screen with a home button. The iPad Air 4 is 10.9 inches with no home button.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and warm the edges of the screen.
- Lift the bonded screen carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Disconnect the old screen and move the home button across to keep Touch ID.
- Connect the new assembly and test display, touch and Home before sealing.
- Clean the frame and apply new adhesive.
- Press the screen down evenly and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPad Air 3?
Yes, if the A-number is A2152, A2123, A2153 or A2154.
Does it fit the iPad 10.2-inch?
No. The iPad 10.2-inch uses separate glass and LCD parts in a different size.
Will Touch ID still work?
Only if your iPad's own home button is moved to the new screen. A new button will not work for Touch ID.
