How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and tap Model Number until it shows an A-number. It should be A2589 or A2591.
The iPad Air 5 has a 10.9-inch screen and the M1 chip. It looks like the Air 4, so check the A-number before ordering.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and heat the screen edges gently.
- Work the screen free with thin picks and disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the old screen and clean the frame of adhesive and glass.
- Connect the new assembly and test display, touch and Pencil.
- Apply new adhesive strips around the frame.
- Seat the screen, press evenly and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Once the adhesive has set, the screen is hard to lift again without damage. A quick test of display and touch avoids that.
