What this part is
The iPad mini 6 brought an 8.3-inch edge-to-edge screen, USB-C and Touch ID in the top button, with no home button on the front. Its glass, touch layer and LCD are one laminated unit.
This assembly replaces the whole front panel, so there is no glass to separate. The borders are narrow and the glass is thin, which makes opening the iPad the riskiest step. Work slowly with even heat and keep picks shallow.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad mini (6th generation).
The iPad mini 6 has no front home button and a USB-C port. If your mini has a home button, it is an older model and needs a different screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off and warm the display edges evenly.
- Open the screen slowly with thin picks around the narrow border.
- Disconnect the battery, then the display connectors.
- Connect the new assembly and test the picture and touch.
- Apply new adhesive and press the screen in evenly.
- Check Touch ID, Apple Pencil, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. On the iPad mini 6, Touch ID is in the top button, not the screen, so it is not affected by this part.

No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality screen assembly made to fit the iPad mini 6, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
