What this part is
The 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch was the first iPad Pro with slim, even borders and Face ID instead of a home button. Its display is one laminated unit. When the glass cracks, touch fails or the picture shows lines or dark patches, the whole screen assembly is replaced.
This part arrives with the cover glass, digitiser and LCD already bonded together, so nothing needs to be moved from the old screen. The iPad Pro seals its display with strong adhesive and the glass is thin, so the repair needs heat, patience and new adhesive strips.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (11-inch) with an A number of A1980, A2013, A1934 or A1979.
The 2018 model has one rear camera. The 2020 and later 11-inch models have a square camera bump with two cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the glass slowly with thin picks, working around the edges.
- Disconnect the battery before unplugging the display cables.
- Connect the new assembly and test touch, picture and brightness.
- Clean the frame, fit new adhesive strips and press the screen down evenly.
- Check Face ID, cameras, speakers and charging before handing it back.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
