What this part is
The 2020 iPad Pro 11-inch added a dual camera and LiDAR scanner on the back, but the front looks much like the 2018 model. Its screen is a single laminated unit, so a crack in the glass or a failed touch layer means replacing the complete assembly.
This part is supplied with the glass, digitiser and LCD already joined. The display cables and the strong adhesive seal make it a careful job. Take time over the opening stage to avoid bending the thin frame.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (11-inch) (2nd generation) with an A number of A2228, A2068 or A2230.
The 2020 model has a square rear camera bump with two cameras and a LiDAR scanner. The 2018 model has a single rear camera.

How a technician fits this part
- Switch the iPad off and heat the edges of the display.
- Open the screen gently with picks, keeping them shallow near the cables.
- Disconnect the battery first, then the display connectors.
- Plug in the new assembly and test the picture and touch before sealing.
- Apply fresh adhesive and press the screen into the frame evenly.
- Test Face ID, cameras, speakers, Wi-Fi and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Is the glass already joined to the LCD?
Yes. The cover glass, touch digitiser and LCD come bonded as one unit, so there is no glass to transfer.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality display assembly made to fit the iPad Pro 11-inch 2020, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
