What this part is
The first 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a home button, wide borders and a large laminated display. Because the glass, touch layer and LCD are bonded together, a crack or touch fault means changing the complete screen assembly.
Choose black or white to match the front of your iPad. On a panel this size the glass flexes easily when it is lifted, so it needs even heat, several picks and care around the home button area. Touch ID is paired to the iPad's own home button, so that button must be moved across carefully.

Is this the right part?

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (12.9-inch) with an A number of A1584 or A1652.
The 1st generation has a home button and a single rear camera without flash. The 2nd generation (2017) adds a True Tone flash next to the camera.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and heat the edges of the glass evenly.
- Lift the glass with several picks, supporting it so it does not bend.
- Disconnect the battery, then the display and digitiser cables.
- Move your home button across and connect the new screen.
- Test picture, touch and the home button before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive and press the glass down around every edge.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my 12.9-inch iPad Pro?
Yes, if it is the 1st generation with A number A1584 or A1652. Check under Settings › General › About › Model Number.
Does it fit the 2017 iPad Pro 12.9-inch?
No. The 2nd generation (2017) uses a different display. This part is listed for the 1st generation only.
Will Touch ID still work?
Touch ID is paired to the iPad's own home button, so your existing button must be moved across carefully. A new home button cannot give Touch ID.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality screen assembly made to fit the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 1st generation, tested before dispatch.
