What this part is
The 2018 iPad Pro 12.9-inch dropped the home button in favour of Face ID and slim, even borders. Its large display is one laminated assembly, so broken glass or failed touch is fixed by replacing the whole unit.
This replacement comes with glass, digitiser and LCD already joined. Take extra care along the top edge, where the Face ID sensors sit close to the display, and support the glass so it does not bend while the adhesive is cut.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (3rd generation) with an A number of A1876, A2014 or A1895.
The 3rd generation has Face ID, no home button and a single rear camera. The 2020 model has a square camera bump with two cameras and LiDAR.

- Switch the iPad off and warm the display edges.
- Cut the adhesive with picks, keeping them shallow near the top sensors.
- Disconnect the battery before touching the display cables.
- Fit the new assembly and test picture and touch before sealing.
- Lay new adhesive strips and press the screen in evenly.
- Check Face ID, cameras, speakers and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

This listing is for the 2018 model. We sell a separate screen listed for the 2020 model (A2069, A2232).
Will Face ID be affected?
No. This part does not include any Face ID parts. Those stay in the iPad, and the sensors along the top edge must not be damaged during the repair.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality display assembly made to fit the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2018, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The panel is large and costly, and the Face ID sensors sit close to the edge you open.
