What this part is
The 2020 iPad Pro 12.9-inch introduced the square rear camera bump with two cameras and a LiDAR scanner. On the front it keeps Face ID and slim borders, with a large laminated LCD.
This assembly replaces the whole front: glass, digitiser and display. The glass is thin across such a wide area, so heat it evenly and lift it with several picks at once. Keep clear of the Face ID sensors at the top edge while opening.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation). This listing covers A2069 and A2232.
The 4th generation has two rear cameras and LiDAR in a square bump. The 3rd generation (2018) has a single rear camera.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off and warm the whole screen edge evenly.
- Lift the glass with several picks, supporting it so it stays flat.
- Disconnect the battery, then the display cables.
- Connect the new assembly and test the picture and touch.
- Fit new adhesive and press the screen in all the way round.
- Test Face ID, cameras, LiDAR, speakers and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
