What this part is
The 2021 and 2022 iPad Pro 12.9-inch models have a thicker, brighter display than earlier 12.9-inch models. The glass, touch layer and panel are laminated as one part, so a cracked front or touch fault means fitting a complete new assembly.
This is a high-value panel, so the repair should be done slowly. Support the glass while cutting the adhesive, keep picks shallow near the cables, and test everything before the screen is sealed down.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. The model name should read iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation) or (6th generation). This listing covers A2378, A2461 and A2379.
If your A number is not listed, message us before ordering and we will confirm the fit.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and heat the display edges evenly.
- Lift the glass with several picks and support it as the adhesive releases.
- Disconnect the battery, then the display connectors.
- Connect the new assembly and test picture, brightness and touch.
- Clean the frame, apply fresh adhesive and press the screen in evenly.
- Test Face ID, Apple Pencil, cameras and charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021?
Yes, if your A number is A2378, A2461 or A2379. You can see it under Settings › General › About › Model Number.
Does it fit the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9-inch?
No. The 2021 and 2022 display is thicker than the 2020 one. We sell a separate screen for the 2020 model (A2069, A2232).
Do I need to transfer the glass from my old screen?
No. The glass, touch digitiser and display panel come joined as one unit, so the whole assembly is swapped.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality screen assembly made to fit the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021 and 2022, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. It is a large, high-value panel and the adhesive seal is strong.
