What this part is
The iPad Pro 9.7-inch has a home button with Touch ID and a laminated display with True Tone. The glass, touch layer and LCD are one part, so cracked glass or a touch fault means replacing the whole assembly.
Choose black or white to match the front of your iPad. Touch ID is paired to the iPad's own home button, so it must be moved across with care. True Tone and brightness may differ slightly from the screen that came with the iPad.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About and look at Model Name. Tap Model Number to see the A number, which is also printed in small text on the back of the iPad. It should read iPad Pro (9.7-inch) with an A number of A1673, A1674 or A1675.
The iPad Pro 9.7-inch has four speaker grilles and a Smart Connector on the side. The iPad Air 2 looks similar but has two speaker grilles and no Smart Connector.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPad off and warm the screen edges.
- Lift the glass carefully with picks, keeping clear of the home button cable.
- Disconnect the battery, then the display and digitiser cables.
- Move your home button and bracket to the new screen.
- Connect the new assembly and test touch, picture and Touch ID.
- Seal with new adhesive and press the screen down evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPad Pro 9.7-inch?
Yes, if your A number is A1673, A1674 or A1675. Check under Settings › General › About › Model Number.
Does it fit the iPad Air 2?
No. The iPad Air 2 looks similar but uses a different display. This part is for the iPad Pro 9.7-inch only.
Will Touch ID and True Tone work?
Touch ID is paired to your own home button, so that button must be moved across carefully. True Tone and brightness may differ from the screen the iPad came with.
Is it made by Apple?
