Overview
What this part is
The Taptic Engine is the vibration motor in the iPhone 11 Pro. It sits at the bottom of the phone beside the battery and gives the buzz for calls and alerts, plus the small taps you feel when you press and hold icons. A drop or water damage can leave it weak, rattling or silent.
This part replaces the motor. It is reached from the front once the display is opened and the battery disconnected. Before buying, check Settings › Sounds & Haptics and Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Vibration, as vibration can simply be switched off.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off, warm the screen edges and open the display.
- Disconnect the battery before touching anything else.
- Remove the screws holding the vibrating motor and unplug it.
- Fit the new motor, reconnect it and refit its screws.
- Test vibration for calls, alerts, the silent switch and haptic taps.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 11 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 11 Pro. It fits models A2215, A2160 and A2217.
Does it fit the iPhone 11 Pro Max?
No. The iPhone 11 Pro Max uses a different vibrating motor. This one is for the iPhone 11 Pro only.
Is vibration maybe just switched off?
Check Settings › Sounds & Haptics and Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Vibration first. If vibration is on and still does not work, the motor is the likely fault.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality vibrating motor (taptic engine) made to fit the iPhone 11 Pro, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The display of the iPhone 11 Pro must be opened with heat and resealed, and the battery must be disconnected first.
How quickly will it arrive?
