On the iPhone 12 mini, the Lightning port sits on a flex cable at the bottom of the phone. The same cable also carries the bottom microphones on most iPhones of this generation, so a damaged flex can cause charging, sync and call-audio problems at once.
This part replaces the whole charging port flex cable. It is offered in Blue, White, Black, Green, Red, so you can match the ring around the port to the colour of your iPhone 12 mini. Clean the port with a wooden or plastic pick first: pocket lint is a common cause of poor charging and does not need a new part.

Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 12 mini. Tap Model Number to see the A-number (A2399, A2176, A2398, A2400).

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the two screws beside the charging port.
- Warm the screen edges, open the display carefully and disconnect the battery first.
- Remove the loudspeaker and brackets covering the charging port flex.
- Peel the old flex away, then fit the new one and secure its screws and connectors.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging, data sync and the bottom microphone.
- Fit new screen adhesive, close the phone and run a final call test.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
