What this part is
The iPhone 13 uses a small flex cable at the top of the phone to carry the proximity sensor and the ambient light sensor. The proximity sensor turns the screen off when you hold the phone to your ear. The light sensor tells the phone how bright the room is.
If this flex is damaged, often after a screen replacement or a drop, your cheek may press buttons during calls, or brightness may stay stuck. This part replaces that sensor flex only. It sits behind the display, so the screen has to be opened to reach it.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 13. Tap Model Number to see the A-number (A2633, A2482, A2631, A2634, A2635).
The iPhone 13 has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras set diagonally. Check the model before you order, as the top parts differ between iPhone 13 models.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the two screws beside the charging port.
- Warm the screen edges, open the display carefully and disconnect the battery first.
- Disconnect and set the screen aside, then remove the bracket over the top parts.
- Remove the old proximity sensor flex cable and fit the new one in exactly the same position.
- Reconnect the screen and battery and test calls, the sensor and the front camera.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press the screen evenly into place.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPhone 13?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 13. It is made for models A2633, A2482, A2631, A2634, A2635. It does not fit the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 or any other model.
Does it fit the iPhone 13 Pro?
No. The iPhone 13 Pro is the same screen size, but it has three rear cameras and a different internal layout. This proximity sensor flex cable is for the iPhone 13 only.
Will it fix auto-brightness too?
Yes, if the fault is in this flex. On the iPhone 13 it carries both the proximity sensor and the ambient light sensor.
Is it made by Apple?

Should I fit it myself?
