What this part is
The iPhone 13 Pro Max display is one bonded unit: the cover glass, touch digitiser and OLED panel cannot be separated. If the glass is cracked, touch stops responding, or the picture shows lines, green tint or black patches, the whole assembly needs replacing.
This is a Soft OLED assembly. Soft OLED uses a flexible panel, like the screen the phone shipped with, and gives deep blacks and rich colour. It is supplied as one bonded unit, so no digitiser transfer is needed. After fitting, iOS may show a message that the display part cannot be verified, and True Tone may need to be transferred with a programmer. Brightness and colour may differ slightly.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 13 Pro Max. Tap the Model Number to see the A-number (A2484, A2641, A2643, A2644, A2645).
The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen and three rear cameras. The iPhone 13 Pro has the same camera layout but a smaller 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the iPhone 13 Pro Max, remove the two screws beside the charging port and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully, like a book, and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unplug the old display cables and remove the old screen.
- Connect the new screen and test display, touch and brightness before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, refit the screws and press the screen evenly into place.
- Run a final check: display, touch, Face ID, calls, speakers and cameras.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
