How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 14. Tap the Model Number to see the A-number (A2649, A2881, A2882, A2883, A2884).
The iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 14 Plus looks the same but has a larger 6.7-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Clean the port with a non-metal pick and try a known good cable first.
- Power off the iPhone 14 and warm the edges of the rear housing to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the loudspeaker and brackets, then peel out the old charging port flex.
- Fit the new flex, refit the screws and brackets, and reconnect everything.
- Test charging, data sync and the microphones, then seal the phone.
