How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 14. Tap the Model Number to see the A-number (A2649, A2881, A2882, A2883, A2884).
The iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 14 Plus looks the same but has a larger 6.7-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the iPhone 14, remove the two screws beside the charging port and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bracket over the top sensors and unplug the old front camera.
- Fit the new camera, reconnect it and refit the bracket.
- Reconnect the display and battery, then test selfie photos and FaceTime video.
- Seal the phone with new adhesive and press evenly while it sets.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fix Face ID?
No. This part is the selfie camera used for photos and FaceTime. Face ID uses separate sensors, so a Face ID fault needs a different repair.
