The earpiece speaker on the iPhone 14 Plus is the small speaker at the top of the phone that you hear callers through. Dust in the grille, moisture or a drop can make call sound quiet, crackly or silent while speakerphone still works.
This part is the earpiece speaker on its own. It does not include the proximity sensor flex. It sits behind the display, close to the Face ID parts, so fitting needs care and the right tools.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 14 Plus. Tap the Model Number to see the A-number (A2632, A2885, A2886, A2887, A2888).
The iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 14 looks the same but is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Clean the earpiece grille gently with a soft brush to rule out dust.
- Power off the iPhone 14 Plus, remove the two screws beside the charging port and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bracket over the earpiece and lift out the old speaker.
- Seat the new speaker, refit the bracket and test a call at several volumes.
- Close the phone with new adhesive and press evenly while it sets.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
