What this part is
At the top of the iPhone 15 Pro, the earpiece speaker and the proximity sensor are joined on one flex cable. The earpiece plays the other person's voice during calls, and the proximity sensor turns the screen off when the phone is at your ear so your cheek does not press buttons.
This part is the combined assembly, so it can fix both faults in one repair. It is different from the earpiece speaker sold on its own. Handle the top area carefully during fitting, as the front camera and Face ID parts sit close by.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 15 Pro. Tap Model Number to see the A-number; it should be one of A2848, A3101, A3102 and A3104.
The iPhone 15 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen, a titanium frame, the Action button and three rear cameras. The iPhone 15 has two rear cameras, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is larger at 6.7 inches.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and open it following a repair guide for your model.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the bracket over the earpiece and sensor area.
- Unclip the old flex and lift out the earpiece assembly, avoiding the nearby camera parts.
- Fit the new assembly, reconnect it and refit the bracket.
- Reconnect the battery, then test a call, the proximity sensor and the front camera before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

What is the difference between this and the earpiece speaker on its own?
This part includes the earpiece speaker and the proximity sensor flex together. Choose it if call audio is poor and the screen does not turn off at your ear. If only the audio is bad, the standalone iPhone 15 Pro earpiece speaker may be enough.
