Overview
What this part is
The loudspeaker sits at the bottom of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, beside the USB-C charging port. It plays ringtones, alarms, music and speakerphone calls. Water, dust or a drop can make it sound tinny, crackly or stop working.
This part is the loudspeaker module only. Before ordering, clean the bottom speaker grille gently with a soft brush and check that the phone is not stuck in headphone or Bluetooth mode. If call audio at the ear is the problem, you need the earpiece speaker instead.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen, a titanium frame, the Action button and three rear cameras, including a 5x telephoto. The iPhone 15 Pro is smaller at 6.1 inches, and the iPhone 15 Plus has only two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and open it following a repair guide for your model.
- Disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the screws and any bracket holding the loudspeaker at the base.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker, taking care of the charging port flex beside it.
- Fit the new loudspeaker and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, music and speakerphone before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 15 Pro Max?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 15 Pro Max. It fits model numbers A2849, A3105, A3106 and A3108. It does not fit the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro Max or any other model.
Does it fit the iPhone 15 Pro?
No. The iPhone 15 Pro is a smaller 6.1-inch phone with different internal parts. This part is for the iPhone 15 Pro Max only.
Is this the same as the earpiece speaker?
No. This is the loudspeaker at the bottom of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, used for ringtones, music and speakerphone. The earpiece at the top, used for calls at your ear, is a separate part.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker module made to fit the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The loudspeaker sits next to the charging port flex in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the battery must be disconnected safely first.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day from Manchester by Royal Mail Tracked. Delivery is free on UK orders from £5. Returns are accepted within 30 days from receipt.
