Overview
What this part is
The Taptic Engine in the iPhone 15 Pro makes the vibration for calls and notifications, and the small taps you feel when you use the keyboard or press and hold. A drop or water damage can make it rattle, buzz loudly or stop working.
Before ordering, check that vibration is turned on in Settings › Accessibility › Touch and in Settings › Sounds & Haptics. If it is on and you still feel nothing, or the phone rattles when shaken, the motor needs replacing.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 15 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 15 Pro. It fits model numbers A2848, A3101, A3102 and A3104. It does not fit the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro or any other model.
Does it fit the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
No. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a larger 6.7-inch phone and uses its own parts. This part is for the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro only.
How do I check vibration is switched on?
Go to Settings › Accessibility › Touch and make sure Vibration is on, then check Settings › Sounds & Haptics. If it is on and there is still no vibration, the motor is likely faulty.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality Taptic Engine vibrating motor made to fit the iPhone 15 Pro, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Taptic Engine sits near the battery in the iPhone 15 Pro, and the battery must be disconnected safely before work starts.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day from Manchester by Royal Mail Tracked. Delivery is free on UK orders from £5. Returns are accepted within 30 days from receipt.
