Overview
What this part is
The Taptic Engine in the iPhone 15 makes the vibration for calls and notifications, and the small taps you feel when you use the keyboard or press and hold. A drop or water damage can make it rattle, buzz loudly or stop working.
Before ordering, check that vibration is turned on in Settings › Accessibility › Touch and in Settings › Sounds & Haptics. If it is on and you still feel nothing, or the phone rattles when shaken, the motor needs replacing.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 15?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 15. It fits model numbers A2846, A3089, A3090 and A3092. It does not fit the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 14 or any other model.
Does it fit the iPhone 15 Plus?
No. The iPhone 15 Plus is a larger 6.7-inch phone with different internal parts. This part is for the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 only.
How do I check vibration is switched on?
Go to Settings › Accessibility › Touch and make sure Vibration is on, then check Settings › Sounds & Haptics. If it is on and there is still no vibration, the motor is likely faulty.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality Taptic Engine vibrating motor made to fit the iPhone 15, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Taptic Engine sits near the battery in the iPhone 15, and the battery must be disconnected safely before work starts.
