What this part is
The loudspeaker sits at the bottom of the iPhone 16e, next to the USB-C charging port. It plays ringtones, alarms, music and speakerphone calls. Water, dust or a drop can leave it buzzing, crackling or silent.
This part replaces the loudspeaker module only. Before ordering, clean the speaker grille with a soft dry brush and check that the phone is not connected to Bluetooth audio. If the earpiece at the top is also quiet during normal calls, that is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 16e. Tap the Model Number once to see the A-number (A3212, A3408, A3409, A3410).
The iPhone 16e has a 6.1-inch screen with a notch (no Dynamic Island) and a single rear camera. The iPhone 16 has a Dynamic Island and two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 16e off, open the phone and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the screws and bracket holding the loudspeaker near the charging port.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker without pulling on nearby flex cables.
- Seat the new loudspeaker and refit its screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, music and speakerphone.
- Close the phone with new adhesive and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
