How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 17 Pro. We do not list model numbers for this model, so check the Model Name carefully.
The iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, three rear cameras and a USB-C port. The iPhone 17 Pro Max looks the same but is larger, with a 6.9-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 17 Pro off and warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the top bracket and unclip the old earpiece and sensor flex.
- Fit the new assembly, seat the flex connector fully and refit the bracket.
- Reconnect the display and test calls and auto-dimming before sealing.
- Seal the screen with new adhesive and run a final check of calls and Face ID.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
