What this part is
The loudspeaker sits at the bottom of the iPhone 17 Pro, near the USB-C port. It plays ringtones, alerts, speakerphone calls, music and video. Liquid, dirt or a drop can make it quiet, rattly or silent.
This is the loudspeaker module on its own. Before buying, clean the bottom speaker grille gently with a soft, dry brush and check that the sound is not simply blocked. If it is still poor, the module needs replacing.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name should read iPhone 17 Pro. We do not list model numbers for this model, so check the Model Name carefully.
The iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, three rear cameras and a USB-C port. The iPhone 17 Pro Max looks the same but is larger, with a 6.9-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 17 Pro off and open it using the correct method for this model.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the screws and brackets holding the loudspeaker near the USB-C port.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker and fit the new module in the same position.
- Refit the brackets and screws, reconnect the battery and test ringtones and speakerphone.
- Close the phone with new adhesive and check calls, charging and sound again.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
