What this part is
The rear cameras on the iPhone 17 Pro Max sit behind thin glass covers. If a cover cracks or gets deeply scratched, photos can look blurry, hazy or washed out, and dust or moisture can reach the camera beneath.
This part is the lens glass only. The cameras themselves are not included. The old glass is bonded in place, so it must be removed carefully without scratching or pushing on the camera module underneath. If the camera still fails to focus or shows black after a new lens, the camera module itself is at fault.
