How to check your model

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 17 Pro Max off and soften the screen adhesive with gentle heat.
- Open the display and disconnect the battery straight away.
- Take off the top bracket and remove the old earpiece and sensor flex.
- Fit the new assembly and press the flex connector home firmly.
- Reconnect the display and test call audio and auto-dimming.
- Seal with new adhesive and do a final check of Face ID and calls.
