What this part is
The iPhone Air has a single rear camera behind a thin glass cover. A crack or deep scratch in that cover can make every photo soft, hazy or full of glare, and lets dust reach the camera.
This part is the lens glass only. The camera is not included. The old glass is bonded in place and must be removed without scratching or pressing on the camera underneath. If photos are still poor after a new lens, the camera module itself may need replacing.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone Air off and tape over the camera area to hold loose glass.
- Warm the lens area gently to soften the adhesive.
- Remove the broken glass carefully, keeping pressure off the camera below.
- Clean away all old adhesive, dust and glass fragments.
- Fit the new lens glass with fresh adhesive and hold it in place evenly.
- Open the Camera app and check photos are clear and sharp.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
