What this part is
The Galaxy A80 has a full-screen design with no notch, because its cameras flip up from the top. The glass, touch layer and display are bonded together, and this replacement comes as one complete assembly.
It uses an LCD panel. The A80 was sold with a Super AMOLED screen and a fingerprint sensor under the display. An LCD usually blocks that sensor, so fingerprint unlock may not work. PIN, pattern and password are unaffected. Colours and brightness may differ slightly.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model number should read SM-A805F (or SM-A805F/DS).
The A80 has a 6.7-inch notch-free screen and a rotating camera. The Galaxy A90 5G has a waterdrop notch and uses a different screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Remove the back, disconnect the battery and unplug the display flex.
- Warm the front and separate the old screen from the frame, keeping clear of the camera mechanism.
- Clean the frame and apply new adhesive.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch.
- Seal the screen, refit the back and test the rotating camera and calls.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will the in-display fingerprint sensor work?
It may not. This is an LCD, and the A80's fingerprint sensor is designed to read through an OLED screen. PIN, pattern and password still work.
