The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) screen is a bonded assembly of glass, touch layer and LCD panel. When the glass cracks or touch fails, the whole assembly is replaced. This part comes as one bonded unit in black.
It is listed for the SM-T510 and SM-T515. It is an LCD, the same display type the tablet was sold with. The 2016 Tab A 10.1 looks similar but uses a different screen, so check the model number first.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About tablet. The model number should read SM-T510 or SM-T515.
The 2016 Tab A 10.1 has model numbers starting SM-T58 and a physical home button. The 2019 model has no home button.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off and warm the screen edges.
- Slide thin picks under the glass and work around to release the adhesive.
- Lift the screen, disconnect the battery and unplug the display flex.
- Clean the frame and apply new adhesive.
- Connect the new screen and test display and touch.
- Press the screen down evenly and let it settle before use.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
