What this part is
On the LG G6 the charging port is built into a flex cable that runs along the bottom of the phone and connects to the main board. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port flex cable, so the port is replaced together with its cable and no soldering is needed. If the phone still does not charge with a new part and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on some versions Settings › General › About phone). The model number should read H870, H871, H872, H873, LS993, VS998 or US997.
The model number is also on the phone box. The LG Q6 looks similar but is a different phone.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the LG G6 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic opening tool and suction cup.
- Remove the screws holding the inner cover, then disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Remove the lower inner cover and unplug the charging port flex from the main board.
- Peel the old flex away, fit the new one in the same position and reconnect it.
- Refit the covers, reconnect the battery, apply new back adhesive and test charging.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my LG G6?
Yes, if your model is H870, H871, H872, H873, LS993, VS998 or US997.
Does it fit the LG G7 ThinQ?
No. The G7 ThinQ has a different charging port part. We list it separately.
Does it keep the phone water resistant?
The part fits the same as before, but water resistance depends on the back cover seal. Fit new adhesive when closing the phone.
Is it made by LG?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality part made to fit the LG G6, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The LG G6 glass back is glued and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
