What this part is
The loudspeaker on the LG V20 plays ringtones, alarms, music and speakerphone calls. After drops or liquid damage it can sound distorted, rattle or go silent, while the earpiece used for normal calls still works.
This part replaces the loudspeaker unit. Before fitting it, check that the phone is not stuck in headphone mode and clean the speaker grille gently, as a blocked mesh can cause the same symptoms.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on some versions Settings › General › About phone) and check the model name reads LG V20.
The V20 has a removable back cover and battery, and a small second screen above the main display.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the LG V20 off, remove the back cover and take out the battery.
- Remove the screws holding the lower inner cover and lift it off.
- Lift the old loudspeaker out of its housing.
- Fit the new loudspeaker, making sure its contacts line up with the board.
- Refit the lower cover and screws, insert the battery and test ringtones and media sound.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my LG V20?

Does it fit the LG V30?
No. The V30 is a different phone with a different loudspeaker. We list it separately.
Will this fix call sound?
Only on speakerphone. The earpiece you hold to your ear on calls is a separate part.

Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The LG V20 must be opened carefully, and the power must be disconnected before the new speaker is fitted.
