Overview
What this Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724 charging port is
"microsoft surface pro 4 1724 charging port" is the phrase many buyers type when the cable stops holding on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724, and this listing is the answer. If "microsoft surface pro 4 1724 charging port for sale" is what you have been hunting for, this is a sensible place to order. Our listing matches "microsoft surface pro 4 1724 charging port oem" and shows the price up front. Packed in Manchester by Supreme Phone Parts Ltd, tested before dispatch and sent the same day before 4pm on weekdays. Free Royal Mail Tracked delivery over £5, VAT invoice available, 30-day returns on unused items.
This charging port dock connector board cures the faults that follow a worn or damaged connection on the Microsoft Surface Pro 4: the tablet will not charge or only charges intermittently; the charger plug sits loose; and the charging light is unreliable. It replaces the failed part, so the tablet returns to normal use once fitted correctly.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724 charging port price here is £13.94, with free Royal Mail Tracked delivery on UK orders from £5, for a new part made to OEM standard.
The pack contains the charging port assembly only. Adhesive and repair tools are not included.

Before you order
Is this the right charging port?
Signs it needs replacing
- The cable has to be held at an angle to charge
- It charges only intermittently or very slowly
- The charger is not recognised or the device does not connect to a computer
- There is visible damage, debris or a worn connector
Check before ordering
- Confirm your device is the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 1724. Check Settings › About phone, or the model label, before ordering
- Make sure it is not a similarly named model, as other variants can use different parts
- Try a different charger and cable, and clean the port gently, before ordering
- Line up a repair shop or technician before the part arrives
Professional installation
How a technician fits this charging port
- Power the device off and open it using the method for your model.
- Disconnect the battery first, then remove any covers or brackets over the charging board.
- Disconnect the flex connectors and lift out the old charging port assembly.
- Fit the new assembly, reconnect the flex cables and reconnect the battery.
- Test charging, data transfer and any headphone or microphone function before closing the device.
Take your time: switch off the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, disconnect the battery, and keep screws sorted by position. Remove the old charging port dock connector board, seat the new one flat and secure, reconnect, then test before closing the case. Test the microphone as well as charging before closing up. Professional fitting is advised for Surface devices. We recommend professional fitting unless you are comfortable working with small connectors. Check that the part matches your device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Parts with adhesive or glue applied can’t be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Item arrived promptly which is always the case with this seller. And as usual well packaged. Sadly the postal service mishandled it and may have caused the failur eof the unit. Seller made instant refund. Decent communications too when i am sure they have a ton of orders to juggle. I have no issue recommending them and have now had half a dozen digitisers and all te others worked so far.
