What this part is
The rear camera on the Motorola Moto E4 sits behind a small glass cover on the back of the phone. When that cover cracks or is deeply scratched, photos look soft, hazy or show flare, even though the camera itself is fine.
This part replaces the lens glass only. The old glass is removed, the recess is cleaned, and the new glass is fitted with adhesive. If photos are still blurry, or the camera will not open, the camera module is at fault and needs a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto E4, not Moto E4 Plus. The model number (XT1762 or XT1772) is shown under Settings › About phone › Regulatory information and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Warm the old lens glass gently to soften its adhesive.
- Lift out the broken glass with a thin plastic tool, taking care not to scratch the camera beneath.
- Clean all adhesive and glass fragments from the recess.
- Fit the new lens glass, using adhesive if none is pre-applied, and press it evenly.
- Remove any film, power on and take test photos.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Moto E4?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Moto E4 and the model number is XT1762 or XT1772. It does not fit the Moto E4 Plus, Moto E5 or Moto E3.
Does it fit the Moto E4 Plus?
No. The Moto E4 Plus is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Does this fix a camera that will not focus?
No. This is the glass cover only. If the camera will not focus, shows a black screen or will not open, the camera module is at fault.
Is it made by Motorola?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality camera lens glass made to fit the Motorola Moto E4, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Removing broken glass without scratching the Moto E4 camera needs care, heat and the right tools.
