What this part is
On the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus the USB-C charging port sits on a small board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so no soldering is needed. The board is swapped as one part. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto G 5G Plus, not Moto G 5G. The model number (XT2075, XT2075-2 or XT2075-3) is shown under Settings › About phone › Regulatory information and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Moto G 5G Plus off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover if it is glued, then lift it with a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the screws holding the inner cover and disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex cable and any antenna cable, then remove the old charging port board.
- Fit the new board, reconnect its cables and refit the screws and covers.
- Power on and test charging and USB data with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Moto G 5G Plus?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Moto G 5G Plus and the model number is XT2075, XT2075-2 or XT2075-3. It does not fit the Moto G 5G, Moto G 5G 2022 or Moto G100.
Does it fit the Moto G 5G?
No. The Moto G 5G is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with a flex cable and screws.
Is it made by Motorola?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Moto G 5G Plus has to be opened carefully with plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new board is connected.
