What this part is
The Motorola Moto G24 charges through a USB-C socket soldered to a small board at the base of the phone. Over time the socket wears, collects lint or gets bent, and the phone charges only at an angle, charges slowly or not at all.
This board replaces the whole socket assembly, so no soldering is needed. It connects to the main board with a flex cable. If the phone still will not charge with a known-good cable and charger after fitting, the battery or main board may be at fault, and that is a separate repair.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto G24, not Moto G24 Power. The model code is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and open the phone carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the screws and covers over the bottom board, disconnect its flex cable and lift out the old board.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable and the battery, then test charging and data before closing.
- Reseal the back cover with new adhesive and run a final check of charging, calls and speakers.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Moto G24?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Moto G24. It does not fit the Moto G24 Power, Moto G34, Moto G04.
Does it fit the Moto G24 Power?
No. The Moto G24 Power is a different phone and uses different parts. Check the model name in Settings › About phone before you order.
Will this fix a Moto G24 that does not charge?
It fixes charging faults caused by a worn, loose or damaged USB-C port. Try a known-good cable and charger first, and clean the port gently. If the battery or main board is at fault, a new port board will not fix it.
Is it made by Motorola?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Motorola Moto G24, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Moto G24 has to be opened, and the battery must be disconnected safely before the board is changed.
